Redline | Background History
Redline grew up in a small beach-town on the east coast of Delaware, between New York City and Washington D.C. areas. Having worked many jobs in retail sales, restaurants, offices, large corporations and also as a mobile disc jockey spinning music (DJ for weddings, dances, events, etc), before finding true passion in working with talented artists in the professional audio recording industry. It's always been about the music...
Left home to acquire an Associate of Arts Degree in Recording and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail in Winter Park, Florida; A world-renown school that was built upon it's infamous Recording Arts program, eventually branching into Film, Graphic Design, Gaming and Digital Media. Trained on some of the most-expensive and top-notch equipment available, in the world.
During the Entertainment Business program, a few of us friends put together our own 16+ channel analog recording studio in our living room - named "Brue V Studios" - where alot of recording experience started, especially for Redline Recordings.
Moved to the Los Angeles area right after recording and business school, and jumped in the fire... Continually working on/off as a freelance engineer, doing some really fun, production tour gigs (see AE Comedy Tour) and a full time job with a well-known production company (Authentic Entertainment). Many other small jobs, as well as catching good gigs in some major and private studios here and there throughout Los Angeles - has kept Redline pretty busy over the years.
Also, still in school and keeping up-to-date with current classes in audio production, music theory, several areas of business, broadcasting and computer-related fields.
