Fall, 2007 | Ricky & Melinda

• A film by Richard Salazaar
• Entire film soundtrack engineered, edited and re-mixed by Chris Redwine and Jason Akana @ centinela bird studios in West Los Angeles, California.
• Started with a lengthy conversion of all files from Soundtrack Pro 2 (on a laptop!) into Pro Tools | HD
• Sourced and replaced almost all ambient effects tracks
• Required a ton of de-noising, eq and editing on the production audio and ADR dialogue tracks
• Due to busy studio schedules at centinela bird, we booked an ADR session with our friends, at Video Box Studios in West Hollywood, off La Cienega and Melrose
• Finally, to add and replace all the missing and damaged sound effects, we hired professional mobile foley artist, Monique Reymond - we re-recorded all of the footsteps, hand movements, cloth movements and any additional sound effects, that were not originally in the movie

July, 2007 | Major League Productions

• CEO Personal Assistant; handling many multi-task responsibilities, as well as audio and video tech jobs
• Co-produced & organized professional voice-over session (hosted through my friends at Video Box Studios) and helped train voice-over talent for reality show trailer
• Designed, co-wrote and implemented professional PowerPoint presentation for reality show pitch to banking Hollywood investors

April, 2007 - June, 2007 | Video Box Studios

• Engineer and Pro Tools editor for inspiring indie-feature film, “LA Blues,” noting music cues, and syncing sound effects for the project
• Recorded live foley sound effects, for the entire film at Video Box Studios, with professional mobile foley artist, Monique Reymond
• Engineered several voice-over sessions, working with a wide-variety of voice-over talent

March, 2007 | "Hustler's" Production Assistant (PA)

• Production Assistant (PA) for Nas & The Game's music video, "Hustlers" (Mtv, BET, YouTube, etc)
• Entire production crew had to halt for an hour, while the studio staff painted the whole wall and floor of the studio "Chroma Green" for a green-screen video shoot
• On set until about 6 in the morning @ a famous studio lot off Slauson, in West Los Angeles
• Redline helped moved heavy equipment around set, supplied the crew with fresh walkie bricks and bottled water, assisted the AC in placing camera markers on the green screen wall, and was sent out on trips to the store and a 24-hr taco stand, for an order of 120+ tacos!!! At like, 2 am in the morning!!!

February - March, 2007 | AE Campus Comedy Challenge

• Hosted by Jasper Redd, and featuring: Sheng Wang, Baron Vaughn, Bobby Miyamoto, Morgan Murphy and Bryan Callan
• HIred as a freelance audio engineer, to capture audio for the national stand-up comedy tour
• Broadcast via online; including interactive, online-voting polls featured to students throughout the United States!
• A 5-crew production team, driving two new Suburban 4x4 vehicles across the United States. Helped drive several lengths of the trip
• The tour started February, 9th, 2007 in the Twin Cities (St. Paul & Minneapolis), Minnesota
• Ending on March 17th, at the Virginia Tech campus

Each show was captured by 3 Panasonic DVX-100A cameras, and the two main center cameras were each receiving 2 external mic inputs (3rd camera floating)

After realizing too many venues had some serious electrical and horrible audio noise, a Mackie 4 channel mixing board was added, to help bypass house audio system issues

• Shot at the Staples Center, in Downtown Los Angeles
• Stand-up, sit-down, Look happy, and Applaud!!!
• Pretty much, that was it... standard extra day rate

November 11th, 2006 | Voice-Over Recording

• Tracked several audio descriptions of a new, modular home design product for Living Homes
• Utilized quick-punch and loop-recording techniques
• Files bounced down to compressed mp3 quality, for internet broadcast
• Files also uploaded to the clients server, via FTP
• The Living Homes website should now be up, take a look!

July 1st, 2006 | high d high, london

• Co-producer, assistant coordinator and DJ for fashion design party, off Abbot Kinney in Venice, CA
• Arranged all music/dj and video camera/projection equipment for the production event
• Personally designed the event flyer, and custom-designed all photoshop work for the picture library

• Processed MP3 IDv3 tag descriptions for audio tour files, and used Whalemail and XServe for file uploads
• Edited, mixed and processed hours of audio tour dialogue, utilizing eq, compression and automation
• Selected and implemented complementing music tracks for the audio travel tours
• Created full tour and sample audio tour tracks
